About me

Who I am?

I am Milan Stojanovic, Web & Mobile App Developer and Designer. I was born on August 5, 1995.

My favorite programming language is JavaScript. I like to work on everything that has to do with JS. I agree with others that there are many other languages that are better than JS, but I think that JS is evolving more than any other programming language and I think it will play a big role in the future.

If I do a job in 30 minutes, it's because I spend 10 years learning how to do that in 30 minutes. You owe me for the years, not the minutes.

My first contact with my current profession was before enrolling in college after I finished high school. My older sister started learning Web Programming, so I borrowed a book about HTML & CSS from her. Although HTML and CSS are not programming languages, the coding in them was enough to get me interested in accepting this call.

In the first year of study, we started learning the basics of the Java programming language. It was here that I first encountered real programming. Further study led me to C# & .Net technologies, but the real spark of interest remained on Web Programming & Design. So I started learning JavaScript. The first professional contact with Web Programming happened in the final year of study when I started attending internship.

I believe that a good relationship between people in a company is far more important than anything. With good communication between the employer and the employees, all obstacles and shortcomings that arise can be overcome.

The scope and meaning of the job are very important. I am not afraid of work too much, I accept challenges, but I think that such a pace of work should not last too long. Also, it is important to properly distribute the work to team members according to knowledge and experience. I am always ready to share knowledge and help my colleagues, but I also expect the same from others when I need help or advice.

I believe that informatic science will play a very big role in the future in many professions and that it can change the world. I hope that my work on various projects makes it easier for users to use the platforms, and thus improve something.

What inspires me the most in programming are constant improvements, nothing ever stays the same, new programming languages and improvements are constantly appearing. I hope that by the end of my career I will be able to create something that will help the world around me.

Although I’ve had contact with Backend technologies, I still can’t say I’m fully into Backend. That is why I have a great desire to work as a Backend developer in the future.

The most difficult tasks do not occur over time in the job itself, but in the way, the job will be completed. The hardest task I ever did was related to the JavaScript library - Vis JS.

The task was as follows: It is necessary to create a timeline that can be zoomed in, depending on the period. The highest zoom can show for you, while the faraway can track the years. It took me a few days to successfully complete the task.

Using the library documentation and my knowledge of JS, I was able to successfully complete the task.

The programming language I like to work with the most is JavaScript and everything related to it. I have to agree with other colleagues that there are languages that are far more powerful than JS, but JS has been there for me since the first day of my learning.

What I like most about JS is that it is constantly expanding through frameworks and libraries, so it is evolving. The success of JS is incredible, and I believe that in the future it will have more and better applications in the world of programming.

What is most important to me in designing is accuracy. Pixel perfect - a term that says it all. In addition to this, it is very important for me to communicate accurately and clearly with clients, more precisely, to do what they want, and to look the way they imagined.

File optimization, brand uniqueness, good use of resources, and most of all - imagination are also indispensable.

The most important project I have worked on is the job platform for employers and workers through which a job can be found. The platform is versatile, containing many types of users, both employers, and workers. The worker can choose many industries when filling out the profile, the schedule he wants to work, location ...

I worked on this project in almost all fields - designing, frontend development, backend development, content writing, testing ... All in order to optimize the platform as much as possible and make it easy to use.

I think that in today's world it is useful to make platforms like the one I worked on because everyone needs a job.

The most important things with the team I work with are good and clear communication, good interpersonal relationships, willingness to help with tasks, knowledge sharing, scrum meetings, and proper distribution of work according to knowledge and experience, clearly defined goals for all team members ...

It would be desirable to socialize outside of work because I think that this strengthens the connection between team members.

Kosingas Gavrilo, Ring Bearer, King of the North, Half Blood Prince, Ken Adams, Ragnar Lothbrok... if you know who they are, then you can know a lot about me too.

I often like to play video games, watch good movies and TV shows, draw, sometimes play the guitar. I used to do a lot of sports, and I would like to come back to that.

What I like to do the most is read books. Lots and lots of books, both for work and for relaxation.
